Luke 7:36-38
When Satan knows he can’t win, his next goal is to make you quit.
All of the promises of God are occupied by opposition; therefore, your willingness to overthrow the opposition is a revelation of whether or not you will possess the promise.
How prepared are you for the opposition? Do you have the will to handle the warfare?
Obstacles are used by the enemy as a tool of intimidation.
The enemy wants to convince you that God’s Word isn’t Sovereign.
Something else may have a say, but He is Sovereign- He has the final say.
Faith [belief] without works [corresponding action] is dead.
My faith works by putting into practice the principle God attaches to a promise. My willingness to work the principle, is me working my faith.
Peace- The principle of not letting my mind operate without discipline
Peace is the promise, where I put my mind is the principle.
If the enemy can’t stop you from [hearing], he’ll stop you from [doing].
Your welfare and your well-being is not just determined by who you are, it’s equally impacted by where you are.
The noun ‘Shekinah’ is a post-Biblical rabbinic term used to describe the manifest, visible dwelling of God’s presence with His people.
Shalom-means wholeness, completeness, harmony, nothing missing, nothing broken
Shekinah brings Shalom. Worship brings Shekinah. The enemy knows that if I worship, I get Shekinah, which brings Shalom.
You can’t give God worship until you give Him you.
In the text, her hair was her glory-
Talent-He wants first rights to the gifts He has given you. “I will do as much or as little” with what He has given me. John 3:30- “He must be greater, I must become less.”

Shame- The enemy uses shame to keep you at a distance from the God who can set you free from it.
Selfishness- Withholding what God deserves, bc I’m consumed with what other people think of me is selfish.
Spectators- God used her past to give her deliverance.
