Matthew 5:13-16
An individual’s ability to accomplish their destiny is determined by their willingness to walk in their distinction.-A Word, look at that.
Destiny isn’t just about arrival, destiny is about authenticity. God doesn’t anoint imposters. He can only help you be, who He’s called you to be.
When I’m not being who God’s called me to be, my oil can’t find me.-Another Word.
I can’t find my anointing until I find myself.
I am a depiction of divine design.
Don’t carry the residue of rejection in your past into the future.
In the Sermon on the Mount-before God tells them what to do, He tells them who they are.
“You are the salt of the earth”-An analogy to help them understand their distinction.
Salt was used to preserve food, preventing decay.-PRESERVATION
Even if salt is the minority in terms of substance, it is the majority in terms of influence.-A WORD!
PURIFICATION-Salt was used in sacrifices [Leviticus 2:!3] and had cleansing properties.
PROVOCATION-Comes from the very ‘provoke’ which means to stir up and incite, or stimulate a response
YOU provoke people to Godliness!
