Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity- God’s presence living in us.
A Person, a Helper, a Teacher, and a Guide who empowers believers to live, love, and lead like Jesus.
He is God in us, with us, and working through us.
Because we posses the Holy Spirit = Fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23
Fruit of the Spirit- singular [a collective noun] ; shows up in 9 different ways
One fruit with 8 manifestations or character traits that the Spirit grows in us as we become more like Jesus.
The Fruit shows who we are becoming.
*Fruit of the Spirit is one of my words of the year*
I am becoming love-
I am becoming joy-
It is evidence of spiritual maturity and Christ-like living.
Gifts of the Spirit- These are the supernatural abilities given by the Spirit to build up the Church and serve others.
The Fruit is for you. The Gifts are for others.
Gifts:
Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues & interpretation, teaching, leadership, encouragement
*I should see myself as being blessed with the Gift of leadership.*
The Gifts equip us for purpose, the Fruit prepares us for character.
When certain situations happen, your Gift(s) get triggered.
All Gift(s) and no fruit = An anointed terrorist
Prayer: Lord help me develop my Fruit.

Correction is direction.
The Spirit of the Lord does not move to make us fall, He moves to make us free.
Galatians 5:1-
Slavery in this context is anything that binds, blinds, or burdens you.
Binds you-restricts you
Blinds you- cuts off your vision
Burdens you-weighs you down
The Holy Spirit moves to set you free. The Holy Spirit’s job is to reveal, remove, and restore.
“If the Spirit only moved to make us fall, then freedom wouldn’t be the Fruit- falling would be the finish. But the fall is just the floor.. freedom is the future.”
Being slain in the Spirit is not an emotional reaction, it is a Biblical supernatural response to an overwhelming weight of God’s presence. It’s not about falling, it’s about forming.
You can’t just be informed by the Spirit- you’ve got to be transformed.
A Divine Reset- How to let God reboot your soul..
Sometimes God interrupts your posture to interrupt your patterns.
What should our response be?
Schedule sacred stillness… -I JUST talked to Kyiah about this, wow!*
Stillness invites surrender. When you create the space, you invite the Spirit who slayed you to reset you daily.
Psalms 46:10-Be still and KNOW that I am God..
Biblical Context- This was written during a time of chaos. God’s people are surrounded by uncertainty, but reminded that He is the God of our refuge.
“Be still” is not passive- it is prophetic. In Hebrew, “be still” [raphah] literally means: “Let go, stop fighting, or loosen your grip.”-A Word**
Stop trying to be your own savior.
You can’t fix your problem, it’s too big for you. I don’t have to act like God, because I know who He is.
Stillness isn’t weakness- it’s wisdom. It’s me knowing that He holds the clock, the crown, and the conclusion-“ALL things work together, for the good of those who love Him.”
Exodus 14:13- “stand still and watch the Lord rescue you”
Sometimes you don’t need a plan, you need a pause.
Stillness is strategy.
Stillness is where God does His best work.
2 Chronicles 20:17-“But you will not even need to fight…”
When you stand still in faith, Heaven stands up in power.
Stillness is not the absence of activity, it is the presence of intentional surrender.
Stillness is spiritual warfare in a world that’s consumed by motion.
The enemy thrives in chaos, because confusion cancels clarity.
It’s hard to see what you possess when you are in the middle of chaos.
God says if you can get still, I can give you strategy.
If you slow down, He will speak up.
Sometimes we miss God’s voice because we too noisy internally to hear Him.
“Know that I am God”- Reintroduce God to your reality.
This is relational awareness.
God is saying “re-center your life on the reality of Me!”
So often, we subconsciously center our lives around things that feel urgent but aren’t ultimate!
He is God OVER anxiety.. God OVER depression… God OVER…
Jireh- He’s Ultimate
Bring your attention back to Him. Whatever is at the center of your life becomes the source of your peace, the strength of your identity, and the standard of your decisions.
When God is at the center, life doesn’t get easier it gets ordered.
When God is at the center, the chaos doesn’t always leave, but the confusion does.
The storm may be real, the pain may be real, but He is more real!
He is the Manufacturer; therefore, I should trust Him to “fix me.”
Your foundation isn’t your performance, it’s His presence.
When you put God back at the center, [peace becomes your default], not your exception. [Clarity becomes your companion], not your quest. [Stillness becomes your superpower], not your weakness.
