Intelligence-Emotional Intelligence-Spiritual Intelligence
IQ-Helps you think clearly.
EQ- Helps you handle people wisely.
SQ-Helps you move according to God’s plan.
You can be smart [IQ], emotionally aware [EQ], but if you lack spiritual intelligence [SQ], you’ll still struggle in your purpose.-A Word!
IQ
Focus: Knowledge & logic
Primary Use: Solve problems using intellect
What it Impacts: My work performance and academic ability
Strengths: Helps you think critically and analyze situations
Weaknesses: Lack wisdom in real life situations
Biblical Example: Solomon’s wisdom [1 Kings 4:29-34]; intellectual brilliance in leadership and knowledge
EQ
Focus: Emotions and relationships
Primary Use: Navigating human interaction
What it Impacts: Leadership, communication, conflict resolution
Strengths: Helps you manage emotions and connect with people
Weaknesses: Can be misused to manipulate others.
Biblical Example: Joseph’s emotional control; he managed his emotions when his brothers betrayed him allowing him to lead. [Genesis 50:20]
SQ
Focus: Discernment & divine wisdom
Primary Use: Walking in purpose and spiritual authority
What it Impacts: Purpose, spiritual growth, and destiny
Strengths: Helps you move in faith, wisdom, and divine timing
Weaknesses: Can lead to over-spiritualizing without practical action
Biblical Example: Jesus’s spiritual discernment; knew when and how to response to satan’s temptation [Luke 4:1-13]
To every problem in life, one of these types of intelligence ^-[above], can fix the other two.
SQ Move- Recognize when opposition isn’t personal- it’s prophetic.
Sometimes the attack you are under has nothing to do with who you are, but who you will become.
MOVE DIFFERENT
If you mislabel obstacles as opposition, you’ll become bitter at God instead of learning from Him.
Prayer: “Lord, give me wisdom to discern the difference between obstacles and opposition. Give me the strength to endure obstacles and the strategy to overcome opposition!”
Isaiah 54:17-“No weapon formed against you shall prosper..”
