No Lie
Confetti & Conspiracies Pt.2 PMJ
John 16:33- “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
The devil not only tells lies, he is a lie.
2 Corinthians 11:14- And no wonder, for Satan himself [masquerades] as an angel of light.
He masquerades- he wears what you like, talks in your tone, and walks in what feels familiar.
If the enemy can’t destroy you, he’ll try to deceive you.
Deception is the strategy. Destruction is the goal.
John 8:44- When he lies, he speaks his native language.
The enemy doesn’t just lie to you, he tries to rewrite you. His objective isn’t just to deceive your ears, it’s to reprogram your identity.
He doesn’t just want to mislead your choices, he wants to alter your core.
It’s not just about the lie, it’s about your label-
It’s deeper than [temptation] it’s about transformation.
He steals your voice. Makes you believe you don’t have one.
He blurs your reflection. Makes you forget you’re made in God’s image.
He highjacks your story. Makes you believe shame is your final chapter.
Enemy vs. Inner-Me
The most dangerous liar in your life might not be the enemy, but your inner-me.
Jeremiah 17:9- The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
Feelings can be real and still wrong at the same time.
If you don’t know how to recognize a lie, you’ll build your life around it.
The L.I.E Trap- 3 types of lies that we often live by. They show up like thoughts, but they work like chains.
L- The lie of limitation. I’m not enough. A deceptive belief that you’re not enough, can’t go further, or don’t have what it takes- when God already put the answer inside you. It’s not just a lie about your ability, it’s an attack on your identity. Proverbs 23:7.
I- Intimidation. This is too much. A spiritual tactic where the enemy exaggerates fear to shrink your faith. The false belief that what’s in front of you is greater than what’s inside of you. It convinces you that resistance is a sign to quit, instead of a signal to grow.
E- Expectation. God should’ve done it by now. The believe that God’s timing is off and your disappointment is justified.
Limitation isn’t always real, sometimes it’s rehearsed.
The more you think it, the more you shrink to fit it.
Limitation is a lie that shows up in- comparison, insecurity, and imposter syndrome. It makes you shrink and convinces you that peace is a reward for performance, not a result of Presence.
Peace = Him
Intimidation is internalized oppression. The enemy convinces you to limit yourself before you even try.
Fear is a prophet of the enemy. Faith is the prophet of the Believer.
Fear speaks doom over what God has already predestined.
Key Scriptures:
2 Timothy 1:7
Deuteronomy 3:22
Habakkuk 2:3
Unmet expectation leads to spiritual amnesia. You forget what God said, because you’re frustrated with when He said it would happen.
Delay isn’t denial, it’s development.
God’s not slow, He’s strategic. If it hasn’t happened yet? It’s on purpose!
What you’re going thru, caught you off guard not Him.
God’s not ghosting you, He’s growing you.
Expectation unchecked by truth turns into entitlement.
Peace isn’t found is the absence of chaos, it’s found in the presence of clarity.
It’s the pain of being you that creates the power of being you.
James 1:2-4 - “the testing of your faith produces perseverance, let it finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
